Final Fantasy XIV: Hunt for Phantasmagoria Moogle Treasure Trove Returns

2025-02-20 02:11:42

The Hunt for Phantasmagoria Moogle Treasure Trove event is making a return to Final Fantasy XIV on February 26th, giving players nearly a month to collect rare cosmetic items before the launch of Patch 7.2, estimated around late March. This limited-time event offers a unique opportunity to acquire items typically difficult to obtain.

This event provides an accessible way for players to earn valuable rewards by participating in various in-game activities.  By completing challenges like dungeons, alliance raids, and Ocean Fishing, players will receive Irregular Tomestones of Phantasmagoria.  These Tomestones can then be exchanged for exclusive rewards by visiting Itinerant Moogle NPCs located in the three major city-states: Ul'dah, Gridania, and Limsa Lominsa.

The Hunt for Phantasmagoria will feature a Mogpendium filled with Weekly Objectives and MiniMog Challenges, offering a steady stream of Irregular Tomestones.  The Ultimog Challenge, a one-time event completion objective, provides the largest reward.  The specifics of these challenges will be revealed when the event begins.

Among the coveted rewards available in this Moogle Treasure Trove is the Paissa Earring, costing 100 Irregular Tomestones. Players can also look forward to acquiring mounts such as the Shadow Gwiber and Legendary Kamuy, as well as the Queen's Guard Barding for their Chocobos.  Notably, the Inferno Jacket glamour item will be returning for 50 Tomestones, its first appearance since the 2021 Hunt for Lore event.

The commencement of this event coincides with the release of Patch 7.18 and the start of the Instax collaboration, adding another layer of excitement for players. With the Moogle Treasure Trove and the upcoming Seekers of Eternity update (Patch 7.2), Final Fantasy XIV players are in for a busy and rewarding period.
