World of Warcraft Patch 11.1: Delve into New Rewards and Content
2025-02-18 08:34:48World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 is bringing a wealth of new content and rewards to its Delve system in Season 2 of The War Within. Players can look forward to earning a customizable Gob-Trotter mount, a Delve-O-Bot 7001 teleportation toy, unique campsite customizations, and more.
Delves, introduced in The War Within expansion, are short, repeatable dungeons designed for solo or small group play (up to five players). They offer various challenges, cosmetic rewards, gear upgrades, and the companionship of Brann Bronzebeard.
The upcoming Patch 11.1 marks the first major content update for Delves since their initial release. Season 2 promises compelling rewards, starting with the Delver’s Gob-Trotter. This customizable mount, reminiscent of Season 1's Delver’s Dirigible, boasts a distinct Goblin aesthetic inspired by the denizens of Undermine. Players can also acquire the Junkreaver’s Apparel, a stylish black and red transmog set. The Delve-O-Bot 7001 toy provides instant teleportation to a random Bountiful Delve within Khaz Algar. Finally, the Cultists’ Quay Campsite offers a new personalization option for the Warband character select screen.
Among the new rewards is the Delver's Gob-Trotter, a customizable flying mount awarded through the seasonal opening quest. Further customizations for this mount are unlocked through Delver's Journey progression (Tiers 1-6). The Delve-O-Bot 7001, a toy that teleports players to a random Bountiful Delve, is earned at Tier 7 of the Delver's Journey. Completing the Delver's Journey unlocks the Nightfall Sanctum campsite background for the character select screen. Additional rewards include a gilded skin for the Gob-Trotter mount, a cosmetic back transmog, and the Junkreaver's Apparel gear set.
Two new Delves, Side Street Sluice and Excavation Site 9, will be added to Khaz Algar. Many existing Delves will receive Gnome- or Goblin-themed variations. Brann Bronzebeard can now be specialized as a tank, wielding a gun and shield, offering crucial support when facing challenging foes like the new Delve adversary, Underpin.
Patch 11.1 also introduces improved visual effects for area-of-effect attacks, making it easier for players to avoid damage in challenging Delves. These enhanced visuals feature clear telegraphing and vibrant colors to improve combat clarity.
With the arrival of Season 2, the Undercoin currency will be reset to zero, encouraging players to spend their existing Undercoin before the update launches on February 25th. Players are also advised to complete their current Delver’s Journey and other Season 1 milestones before the reset.
