The popular mobile gacha game, Cookie Run: Kingdom, is offering one last chance to preorder its coveted Shadow Milk plushie. This limited edition collectible, part of the game's 4th-anniversary celebration, has been notoriously difficult to acquire, selling out rapidly in previous preorder phases.

Since its launch, Cookie Run: Kingdom has captivated millions of players globally, cementing its position as a leading mobile RPG. Developer Devsisters has further engaged its fanbase by releasing a variety of merchandise, including the highly sought-after Shadow Milk plushie. After two rapid sell-outs, this third preorder period represents the final opportunity for fans to obtain this exclusive item.

Cookie Run: Kingdom players eager to acquire the plushie can redeem in-game codes for various rewards, such as Rainbow Cubes, Coins, and Crystals.  These resources can enhance gameplay and assist players in progressing through the game's diverse content.

The official Cookie Run: Kingdom Twitter account announced the third preorder window, which runs from February 10th to February 16th. The Shadow Milk plushie bundle, priced at $27.97 (excluding taxes and shipping), includes bonus items like paper doll cards and a digital concert ticket for the game's special OST album.

Disappointingly, Devsisters has confirmed that this will be the last preorder for the Shadow Milk plushie.  This announcement has sparked frustration amongst fans, especially considering the limited shipping to the U.S. and Canada. Many international players are left without a chance to purchase the collectible, and concerns about scalpers and inflated prices on resale platforms like eBay are rising. Some fans have criticized Devsisters' handling of previous preorders, citing insufficient measures to prevent bot purchases and scalping.

The limited regional availability also raises concerns about potential counterfeits.  With the plushies manufactured in South Korea, a country where counterfeit merchandise has been a previous issue (as seen with the seizure of fake Pokemon toys), fans are understandably worried. Whether Devsisters intends to release the anniversary edition of the Shadow Milk plushie globally remains to be seen.

Fans who manage to secure a preorder during the limited window will have to wait until May 2025 for shipments to begin.
