Genshin Impact's latest update presents players with accessible opportunities to boost their Primogem reserves. Primogems are essential for wishing on banners and acquiring new characters and weapons.

While in-app purchases are a primary revenue source, Genshin Impact consistently provides free Primogems through various activities, including limited-time events and permanent features like Daily Commissions and the Spiral Abyss.

The upcoming Version 5.4 introduces the "Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival." Players can pre-register through the official website for a bonus of 30 Primogems. This simple pre-registration process highlights a period of reduced content updates coinciding with the Lunar New Year holidays.

The Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival runs from February 14 to March 3 and promises additional Primogem rewards.  Participating players can also earn a new free polearm, the Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.

This versatile polearm boosts ATK and Movement SPD after using an Elemental Skill, making it a valuable asset for various support characters.

Version 5.4's first phase introduces the five-star Anemo character, Yumizuki Mizuki, alongside the Fontaine healer, Sigewinne.

The second phase features rerun banners for two Fontaine characters: the Hydro Archon Furina and Wriothesley, continuing the pattern of one Archon rerun per update following a new region's release.
