Rebellion Developments' latest tactical shooter, Sniper Elite: Resistance, has landed on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, offering subscribers immediate access to the World War 2 adventure. Set in Vichy, France, the game follows Special Operations Executive agent Harry Hawker's parallel story to the events of 2022's Sniper Elite 5.  Players can embark on this thrilling experience starting January 30.

The Sniper Elite franchise is renowned for its refined sniping mechanics, a core element that Rebellion Developments has continuously honed with each new installment.  Stealth and tactical combat are equally crucial, complemented by weapon customization options and diverse side missions, including challenging kill targets. Sniper Elite: Resistance continues this tradition, featuring a campaign playable solo or online co-op, alongside a 16-player competitive multiplayer mode and the asymmetrical 'Invasion' mode, first introduced in Sniper Elite 5.

Sniper Elite: Resistance has also launched on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles. January has proven a rewarding month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.  Notable additions include the surprise launch of Ninja Gaiden 2: Black on January 23, accompanied by the announcement of Ninja Gaiden 4's day one availability on Game Pass upon its Fall 2025 release.  Furthermore, Eternal Strands, the highly anticipated action-adventure title from Yellow Brick Games, joined the Game Pass Ultimate library on launch day, January 28.
