Originally released in November 2021 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, Forza Horizon 5 has been praised for its stunning visuals and expansive open-world gameplay. Players can explore Mexico's diverse landscapes in hundreds of cars, and now PlayStation gamers can join the adventure. Developed by Playground Games and ported by Panic Button, the PS5 versions promise impressive technical performance.

Digital Foundry's analysis highlights that Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 retains the same graphical presets as the Series X: a 60fps performance mode and a 30fps quality mode. The base PS5 version closely mirrors the Series X in visual fidelity, though dynamic resolution scaling occasionally dips slightly lower. Framerate stability is solid in both modes. However, the PS5 Pro version elevates the experience with enhanced foliage, textures, and draw distances, all while maintaining 60fps.

The PS5 Pro's hardware unlocks Forza Horizon 5's full potential.
