Following the reveal of Update 1.6, HoYoverse has begun teasing upcoming characters for Zenless Zone Zero's Update 1.7. This marketing strategy, typical of HoYoverse, generates excitement and anticipation for future content.

After introducing Astra Yao in Update 1.5 and revealing Soldier-0 Anby, Trigger, and Pulchra for Update 1.6, HoYoverse continues the pattern by teasing the next set of agents.

The highly anticipated Mockingbird agent, Vivian, is finally joining the roster in Update 1.7.  HoYoverse's social media reveal of Vivian's agent records gives players a glimpse into her background and confirms her Anomaly specialty with the Ether Attribute. While her rarity remains unconfirmed, speculation points towards an S-Rank.

Vivian and her Mockingbird partner, Hugo Vlad, have become increasingly prominent in the game's narrative. Their appearance in Astra Yao's Special Program event, where they seemingly stole and replaced one of her prized disks, hints at a developing storyline.  Their presence in the Among the Forgotten Ruins trailer suggests a significant role in the upcoming update.

While Update 1.7 is anticipated for a late April release, players can currently experience the Astranomical Moment banner.  The upcoming Update 1.6 story promises to explore the connection between Anby and Soldier-11. Despite the reveal of the Among the Forgotten Ruins update, much of the narrative remains shrouded in mystery, with leaks hinting at a possible miniboss battle against Hugo Vlad.
