During a recent earnings call, Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks announced a collaboration with Saber Interactive, the developer behind the hit title Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, to create a AAA game based on one of Hasbro’s flagship IPs.

Cocks expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "We have a lot of new digital partnerships in the works, but I'm particularly excited to announce this one today as I'm personally a fan of many titles from this team. Hasbro and Saber Interactive are teaming up to create a brand new video game, developed by the team behind the 2024 mega-hit Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.  This new AAA title, based on one of our cornerstone IPs, will blend thrilling single-player action with exciting multiplayer gameplay powered by Saber’s ‘Swarm’ technology, and is sure to be a major hit."

This collaboration is described as a "co-publishing agreement." Cocks reiterated that the development team responsible for Space Marine 2 will be spearheading this new project, praising them as some of "the best talent in the industry."

Hasbro boasts a portfolio of highly successful IPs including Dungeons & Dragons, G.I. Joe, Magic: The Gathering, Power Rangers, and Transformers, making it a rich source of potential for this new game.
