The highly anticipated arrival of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PlayStation 5 is finally confirmed for April 17, 2025. Bethesda has officially opened pre-orders and revealed details about the different editions and PS5 Pro enhancements.

Following a successful launch on Xbox Series X/S and PC in December 2024, the PS5 release marks a significant expansion in the game's availability.  This multiplatform release was hinted at in August 2024 by MachineGames, the studio behind the acclaimed Wolfenstein series, and is part of a broader strategy by Microsoft.

Gamers can choose from three editions: the Standard Edition ($70), the Premium Edition ($100), and the retail-exclusive Collector's Bundle ($199). The Premium Edition offers early access starting April 15th, exclusive digital content, and access to the future DLC 'The Order of Giants.'  All pre-orders, regardless of edition, will receive 'The Last Crusade Pack' containing the Traveling Suit Outfit and the Lion Tamer Whip.

The Collector's Bundle is packed with physical treasures, including an 11-inch Great Circle globe with a hidden compartment, an Allmaker Relic replica, an Adventure Journal, and a Jumbo SteelBook display case. While PS5 Pro support is confirmed, specific enhancements are yet to be detailed.

A free gameplay update, introducing new whip abilities called 'Open Season' (temporary damage boost) and 'Sleight of Hand' (disarm enemies), will launch across all platforms.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to be a major multiplatform release for Xbox on PS5, and it's not the only big title coming from Microsoft in April. Forza Horizon 5, the acclaimed open-world racer, will arrive on PS5 on April 29th, just 12 days later. Given their distinct genres and target audiences, direct competition between the two titles is unlikely.
