Marvel Rivals is adding fresh new looks for two of its popular heroes.  The fast-paced multiplayer game, which garnered a massive 40 million players in just over two months since its launch late last year, has been consistently releasing new characters, maps, and cosmetics.  Currently in its first full season, Eternal Night Falls, the game has already introduced iconic teams like The Fantastic Four.

The latest additions to the cosmetic lineup are new skins for Black Panther and Moon Knight, set to arrive on Thursday, March 27th.  Black Panther's new skin, "Thrice-Cursed King", embraces a Dracula-inspired aesthetic with vampire-like features and gothic silver armor, tying into the Season 1 theme.  Moon Knight's "Fist of Vengeance" skin takes inspiration from the hero's 2022 Disney+ series.

While the official announcement didn't specify, it's highly likely these skins will be available as microtransactions in the in-game shop.  The Moon Knight skin is particularly noteworthy given the current status of the Disney+ series.  The inclusion of this skin is not an indication or confirmation of a second season, but rather continues the trend of MCU-inspired costumes making their way into Marvel Rivals.  We've already seen skins based on Thor's appearance in Love and Thunder, Captain America's suit from Avengers: Infinity War, and the Guardians' outfits from Vol. 3.

Black Panther, a melee-based duelist in Marvel Rivals, excels at flanking and disrupting the enemy backline.  His lunging abilities allow him to quickly engage or disengage from combat. Conversely, Moon Knight is a popular ranged DPS hero, capable of gliding with his cape and attacking from unexpected angles.  Left unchecked, he can be a significant threat to the opposing team.

With Season 1 of Marvel Rivals concluding on April 11th, anticipation builds for Season 2.  Fans can expect announcements regarding new heroes, maps, and other content in the coming weeks. Keeping an eye on Marvel Rivals' social media channels is recommended for the latest updates.
