The highly anticipated PC port of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered arrives soon, allowing players to experience this critically acclaimed title with enhanced graphics and features. Following its early 2024 release on PlayStation, the PC version was announced during The Game Awards 2024, with a confirmed release date of April 3, 2025.  Naughty Dog recently detailed the PC-specific features and system requirements, giving players a glimpse of what to expect.

Naughty Dog revealed the PC specs for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on March 20. Ranging from 720p at 30 FPS on the low end to a stunning 4K at 60 FPS on the highest settings, the game promises a visually impressive experience.  Achieving peak performance at 4K/60 FPS requires a powerful setup, with Naughty Dog recommending an RTX 4080 or RX 7900XT graphics card and 32GB of RAM. The minimum requirements are more accessible, calling for a GTX 1650 or RX 5500XT and 16GB of RAM.

The PC version boasts support for both Nvidia and AMD frame generation and upscaling technologies, alongside ultra-widescreen and triple-monitor setups with aspect ratios up to 48:9.  PC players can fine-tune their visual experience with adjustable settings for texture quality, volumetric quality, shadow quality, ambient occlusion, and reflections.  Fully remappable keyboard and mouse controls are available, with the option to combine keyboard and gamepad inputs.  DualSense controller users can enjoy full haptic feedback, immersing themselves further into the game's world.  This is particularly good news for owners of the limited edition Last of Us DualSense controllers.

Connecting a PSN account to the PC version isn't required, but doing so unlocks in-game bonuses. These include a unique jacket skin for Ellie from the upcoming Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and 50 points to spend on bonus features.  Originally, a PSN account was mandatory, but Naughty Dog revised this decision, offering the rewards as an incentive instead.
