Embark Studios is gearing up for the launch of The Finals Season 6 on Thursday, March 20th, and they've been steadily revealing exciting new content.  After a period of relative quiet since Season 5's December 2024 launch, players can look forward to significant additions and improvements.

One of the most anticipated features of Season 6 is the introduction of three new weapons, one for each class.  Light class players will gain access to the ARN-220, a rapid-fire assault rifle with lightning-fast reloads thanks to its innovative dual magazine system. Its smooth recoil and high rate of fire make it ideal for shredding mid-range targets.

For Medium class players, the CB-01 Repeater offers a powerful lever-action rifle focused on precision.  Quick reloads via speed-loaders allow players to maintain a high damage output.

And finally, for the Heavy class, the long-awaited Minigun arrives.  This beastly weapon boasts an impressive rate of fire and massive ammo reserves, perfect for holding down fortified positions.  However, mobility will be significantly reduced while wielding this powerhouse.

LIGHT | ARN-220

The lightweight contender’s best friend! This zippy assault rifle keeps you in the fight with lightning-fast reloads thanks to its secondary magazine. With a smooth recoil and a blistering fire rate, it’s built to shred mid-range targets before they know what hit ‘em!

MEDIUM | CB-01 Repeater

This hard-hitting lever-action rifle is built for precision. Empty the clip, snap in a speed-loader, and get back to landing high-caliber shots in no time! High risk, high reward!

HEAVY | M134 Minigun

A bullet-spewing beast with an insane fire rate and massive ammo reserves. Hold down the fort, spin up the barrel, and let it rip. Just don’t expect to run anywhere fast!

Beyond the new weaponry, Season 6 promises a wealth of additional content. Players can expect new sponsors, adjustments to existing game modes, a revamped classic map, and an array of new cosmetic items.

Embark Studios is also investing heavily in The Finals' esports scene. Season 6 will lay the groundwork for major qualifiers later this year, introducing enhanced private match features, an upgraded spectator mode, and new ranked tournament privacy settings. UI and HUD adjustments will also be implemented to ensure fair and balanced competitive matches.

While The Finals enjoyed initial success, it has faced challenges in player retention according to parent company Nexon.  The developers hope the extensive content and esports focus of Season 6 will revitalize the game and attract a larger, more engaged player base.
