Fortnite is launching a new Spring Raid event starting March 14 at 9 AM ET, giving players the opportunity to earn free rewards, including a skin of Dupli-Kate from Invincible. This exciting event follows the recent release of Midas-themed quests for unlocking the latest battle pass skin.

While Chapter 6 Season 2 of Fortnite focuses on heists, some players have voiced concerns about the rewards offered in vaults.  Breaking into these secure locations requires considerable effort, including planting explosives, battling other players and NPCs, and defeating a boss. However, the payoff of a few rare chests and Dill Bits hasn't felt commensurate with the challenge. The Spring Raid event aims to address this by offering more compelling rewards.

During the Spring Raid event, players can complete limited-time quests to unlock free rewards.  While the Dupli-Kate skin has been confirmed, Epic Games has hinted at additional rewards, although the specifics remain undisclosed.  The nature of the quests themselves is also currently unknown.

Allen the Alien, another character from Invincible, was recently added to the Fortnite Item Shop. Players can purchase the skin individually for 1,500 V-Bucks or as part of a larger bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks.  Owners of the Invincible skin also received a free edit style featuring the hero's blue and black outfit from the second season of the show. While it is anticipated that the Dupli-Kate skin will initially be exclusive to the Spring Raid event, it might eventually become available in the Item Shop.

Dupli-Kate will be the fifth Invincible character added to Fortnite, following Invincible, Atom Eve, and Omni Man. While these additions have been well-received, many players are hoping to see even more characters from the series make their way to the game.  With the Spring Raid event and more content on the horizon, the future of Fortnite looks bright.
