Bungie has confirmed the return of the popular Moments of Triumph event to Destiny 2 this March, offering players a chance to earn new rewards and celebrate the past year of content. This annual event is a staple in the Destiny 2 calendar, tasking players with completing various triumphs related to major game events.

This year's Moments of Triumph boasts 33 challenges, with 26 required to earn the coveted MMXXIV title.  The rewards track also includes a unique Bungie Rewards shirt for completing 5 triumphs, the Technoprotection Ghost Shell at 14, and the Flabgbearer Sparrow at 21.  While Bungie hasn't detailed every challenge, they've hinted that many players may have already made progress, referencing defeating The Witness in the Excision activity, completing exotic missions, exploring new dungeons, and more.

The event kicks off on March 4th.  While a specific end date hasn't been announced, Bungie assures players they'll have 'plenty of time' to complete the challenges.  Given the anticipated arrival of 'Codename: Frontiers' later this summer, players likely have several months to earn these exclusive rewards before the next expansion potentially resets the slate.

The excitement around Moments of Triumph arrives alongside other recent developments in Destiny 2.  Players recently encountered a glitch distributing unreleased Episode Heresy weapons from Act 2.  Meanwhile, Episode Heresy continues to be praised for its compelling story, the return of the Dreadnaught, and the engaging Nether activity. Despite recent game issues, Bungie has even embraced a particular Episode Heresy bug, making formerly class-specific swords and glaives available to all players.  This continuous evolution and the arrival of Moments of Triumph promise to keep Guardians busy in the coming months.
