The April 2025 free PlayStation Plus games lineup has been announced, offering a mix of titles for subscribers across all tiers – Essential, Extra, and Premium.  Following March's offerings, which included Dragon Age: The Veilguard,  this new batch promises to inject fresh excitement into players' libraries.

Starting April 1st, subscribers can claim RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5 only), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4 and PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory (PS4 and PS5).  These titles will be available to claim until May 5th.

The April 2025 selection presents a fascinating strategic element.  Offering RoboCop: Rogue City, a well-received 2023 FPS with an upcoming standalone expansion, Unfinished Business, could generate significant anticipation for the new content.  Similarly, providing access to Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory might pique interest in the upcoming Digimon Story: Time Stranger.  Finally, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, an online asymmetric multiplayer horror game, benefits greatly from a large player base, which the PS Plus offering should help bolster.
