Earlier this month, we reported on the promising "Seamless Co-op" mod for Dark Souls 3.  Now, the wait is over: the mod is available for download.

This groundbreaking mod allows you and your friends to experience the complete Dark Souls 3 adventure together, without limitations or interruptions. From the initial tutorial to the climactic final boss battle, every moment can be shared cooperatively, fulfilling a long-held dream for many fans.

A key feature of the Seamless Co-op mod is its clever handling of player death. If a player falls in battle, they respawn at the most recent bonfire they visited, seamlessly rejoining the shared world without disrupting the ongoing gameplay.  No more frustrating returns to home bases after boss victories or area clearances.

The mod eliminates all fog walls and barriers that typically restrict multiplayer access in certain areas.  Furthermore, NPC interactions and dialogue are synchronized across all players.  Resting at a bonfire resets the world state for the entire group, ensuring a cohesive experience.  Progress made in online sessions also carries over to individual worlds, ensuring that story progression remains consistent.

Supporting up to six players, the Seamless Co-op mod transforms Dark Souls 3 into a truly shared experience.  Utilizing Steam's latest networking API, the mod overhauls the game's peer-to-peer connection system, resulting in a more stable and robust online experience.
