Experience over 20 hours of gameplay in the demo alone!  Hongshi Game Studio's debut title, Doloko Town, earned a 98% approval rating with its initial demo. However, the team wasn't content to stop there.  For the upcoming Steam Next Fest, they're back with a revamped and free demo, showcasing significant improvements and exciting additions.

The development team has been hard at work implementing new features based on player feedback since the initial demo release. They've focused on expanding the core gameplay loop and adding depth to the world of Doloko Town.  Here's what players can expect in the updated demo for Steam Next Fest:

1. Dynamic Weather System: To enhance the immersive post-apocalyptic atmosphere, a dynamic weather system has been added.  Experience a range of weather conditions, from thunderstorms and acid rain to scorching sun. These conditions will impact crop growth, forcing players to utilize scavenged technology to protect their harvest.

2. Engaging Fishing System:  A new fishing system adds a relaxing and rewarding activity to town life.  Cast your line in various locations to catch a diverse array of fish…and maybe a few surprises.  Craft better fishing rods to reel in the rarest and most valuable catches.

3. Modular Drone System:  Explore the world more efficiently with the new modular drone system. Customize your drone with various modules, including weapon, harvesting, and enhancement modules.  Use your drone to scout the surrounding areas, uncover hidden resources, and discover the secrets of the wasteland.

4. Vehicle System:  Traverse the town quickly and easily with the newly added hover-motorcycle. This vehicle provides enhanced mobility, allowing players to reach different areas of the town more efficiently.

Doloko Town is coming soon to Steam Early Access.  Players are invited to experience the enhanced demo during Steam Next Fest, running from February 25th to March 4th.

Doloko Town is a side-scrolling pixel art post-apocalyptic farming simulator developed by an independent game studio based in China. Players take on the role of a masked girl who, while being pursued by drones, falls down a cliff and stumbles upon Doloko Town.  Build a new life in this desolate town, cultivate your farm, explore the surrounding areas, and uncover the mysteries hidden within the remnants of a bygone era.
