NEOWIZ has announced a major update for Shape of Dreams, the MOBA roguelite action game developed by Lizard Smoothie.  Coinciding with the Steam Next Fest, this update enhances the existing early access version, which initially launched on Steam in November 2024.

This update directly addresses player feedback, refining core gameplay mechanics such as the 'Memory' and 'Essence' systems.  A key addition is the innovative 'Emotional Expression' system, allowing players to communicate non-verbally, transcending language barriers.  Further enhancing player agency, a new character customization feature empowers players to personalize their in-game appearance. The update also includes gameplay optimizations, balance adjustments, and bug fixes.

Scheduled for official launch later this year, Shape of Dreams will continue to receive updates and improvements.  Importantly, save data from both the prologue and early access versions will be compatible with the full release, ensuring a seamless transition for existing players.

To further engage with the global gaming community, Shape of Dreams is participating in the Steam Next Fest, offering players a chance to experience the updated gameplay firsthand.  A limited-time event, 'Daydream', is also available during the festival, rewarding players with new emotional expressions, badges, and other exclusive items.

NEOWIZ solidified its commitment to Shape of Dreams by signing a global publishing agreement with Lizard Smoothie in January.  Set in the 'Reverie', a captivating realm between dreams and reality, the game follows the journey of heroes facing challenging trials, demonstrating strong potential to become a successful IP.
