Date Everything! Release Pushed Back to June 2025
2025-01-31 10:29:20Team17 and Sassy Chap Games have announced a delay for their highly anticipated dating sim, *Date Everything!*, just shy of its initial release window. The game is now slated to launch in June 2025 across all platforms.
In an update posted on the game's Steam page, the developers explained the reasoning behind the shift:
“Since our last development update, we've been heads-down, diligently working to finalize *Date Everything!* We're now confident in saying the game is feature-complete, meeting our quality bar, and fully realized in its wonderfully weird artistic vision.
However... I was perhaps *too* confident in our ability to thoroughly test everything within this massive game and its sprawling narrative branches. Sadly, that left us with insufficient time to meet our perfectly-timed Valentine's Day release date of February 14th, 2025.
As our QA team navigates the labyrinthine storylines, our bug list is finally starting to shrink. But releasing the game in its current state, with noticeable bugs still present, would be a disservice to everyone.”
The new release window for *Date Everything!* is June 2025. While not as romantically resonant as Valentine's Day, the developers hope to “make June special” instead.
Before closing out this now-standard game delay announcement, the team shared a few additional tidbits:
• Players can look forward to more character reveals, voice actor announcements, and gameplay sneak peeks over the next few months, following a relatively quiet winter period.
• The final game boasts some impressive stats: 1,602,572 words, 74,053 lines of voiced dialogue, 27,924 choices, 13,090 images, and a 5-hour 6-minute soundtrack.
• And finally, yes, you can even date a bug in the game! His name is Daemon, and the development team admits to a complex love-hate relationship with him.
