Fans of Infinity Nikki were buzzing with excitement upon receiving confirmation from the support team that the beloved character, Giovanni, will be featured in an upcoming storyline. While the game's narrative has received mixed reactions, players have consistently lauded the compelling portrayal of NPCs like Giovanni, Raggy, Aderinna, the Banshee, and, more recently, Marques Jr., who played a significant role in the Carnival of Fireworks.

Among the memorable cast of characters, Giovanni stands out with his brooding nature and morally complex persona. Born Griffith Cicchetto, this Stylist from Stoneville was captured by the Faewish Sprite Paladins and endured fifteen years of captivity, separated from his ailing grandfather. He's the catalyst that draws Nikki into the magical world of Miraland, using the Aureum Vase to wish for the power to defeat the corrupt lord of the Faewish Sprites, Chigda, the embodiment of the seven deadly sins.

Leaked information circulating within the Infinity Nikki community provides a detailed look at the anticipated 4-Star outfits arriving in Update 1.2, including their Evolutions. The leak originated when a player, Present_Bend_3994, contacted support regarding Giovanni's disappearance from the game world after Chapter 8.  Other NPCs can still be found in their respective locations, but Cicchetto Manor, Giovanni's expected destination, remains mysteriously vacant. The support team clarified that his absence is intentional, confirming his return in a future storyline update.

Speculation points towards Update 1.3 as the earliest possible return for Giovanni, which is also rumored to introduce housing features to Infinity Nikki.  As a Wishfield character, it's likely developers will want to advance Giovanni's story arc before shifting focus to a new region. If he doesn't appear in Update 1.3, a plausible timeframe would be before Summer 2025, considering the game's rapid update schedule.

While waiting for Update 1.3, players can immerse themselves in the vibrant festivities of the recently added Firework Isles. This new zone, connected to Florawish, offers an expansive area to explore, solve puzzles, and collect items like Dews of Firework and Whim Balloons. Update 1.2, which introduced this content, is expected to run until late February 2025 and will also feature a new set of 4-Star banners in its second half.
