Recent leaks from reputable Call of Duty data miners suggest exciting developments for Black Ops 6 Season 3, including the return of the popular map Verdansk and the controversial operator Roze from the Modern Warfare series.

Following the substantial Season 2 Reloaded update, which introduced a wealth of new content and in-game files, data miners have uncovered hints about the upcoming season. Alongside potential new operators, evidence points to Verdansk's return to Warzone, although Activision has only confirmed a Spring 2025 release window.

With Season 3 anticipated for March, the unearthed references to Verdansk in Black Ops 6 and Warzone following the mid-season refresh are fueling speculation. This potential return to the Modern Warfare era also raises the possibility of controversial operators making a comeback.

Leaker HeyImAlaix suggests Roze, Mace, and Hudson might be returning in Season 3.  While Hudson is a familiar face in the Black Ops universe, Roze and Mace are not. Roze's potential return is particularly noteworthy due to the controversy surrounding her all-black skin in Modern Warfare, which caused significant visibility issues and led to multiple nerfs.

Although several “Roze 2.0” skins have appeared since, none have replicated the same level of disruption. It remains unknown whether Roze will return with her infamous skin or an alternative appearance. The timing of Verdansk's return, coinciding with Warzone's 5th anniversary, has led to speculation about a celebratory re-release of Roze. However, Alaix indicates all three operators are linked to Black Ops 6, suggesting their availability in multiplayer as well.

Whether players will need to repurchase these operators remains unclear.  With Season 3 still several weeks away, players will have to wait for official confirmation regarding Verdansk and these operators. In the meantime, the Season 2 Reloaded update offers a significant amount of new content for Black Ops 6, including the return of a beloved weapon from Black Ops 3 and the iconic Grind map from Black Ops 2. Warzone also received numerous quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and a new perk.
