Fortnite's current Chapter 6, Season 2, "Lawless," has introduced a criminal underworld theme with heists, black markets, and the arrival of Mortal Kombat's Sub-Zero. Players can even wield his icy powers with the Kombat Kit.  But rumors are swirling that he won't be the only Mortal Kombatant dropping into the battle royale.

A leak from Loolo suggests that Scorpion, Sub-Zero's iconic rival and arguably the most recognizable Mortal Kombat character, will be joining the roster. This comes on the heels of a previous leak hinting at Mythic Mortal Kombat items, including Scorpion's Hook Spear and Sub-Zero's gear.

Fans are already speculating about the mystery fighter's identity, with Raiden being a popular guess due to his appearance on Sub-Zero's ice cream cart emote.  However, there's a chance that these new additions might not arrive until next season. Prominent Fortnite leaker Shiina has suggested that Chapter 6, Season 3 could be a shorter "mini-season," potentially ending on March 29th. Latest Game Information

While the addition of more Mortal Kombat characters is exciting, they aren't the only ninjas making their way to Fortnite. Leaks also hint at the arrival of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villains like Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady. This creates an interesting crossover scenario, with characters from both Mortal Kombat and TMNT coexisting in the Fortnite universe.
