Genshin Impact Version 5.5 is shaping up to be a significant update with the introduction of a new zone and two new playable characters, paving the way for equally exciting content in Version 5.6. Datamines have revealed the full character banner lineup for 5.5, offering players a chance to acquire some highly sought-after units.

The first half of Version 5.5 features Varesa, Natlan's Plunge hypercarry, and Xianyun.  While the synergy between Varesa and Xianyun might not be optimal, players can look forward to building powerful teams around Varesa with other characters.  The accompanying 4-star characters are Gaming, Chevreuse, and Iansan.  Chevreuse's Overload capabilities make her a particularly valuable asset for Varesa teams.

The second half of the Version 5.5 banners sees the return of the Anemo Archon, Venti, alongside Xilonen. Xilonen is considered one of the strongest characters from Natlan and a valuable addition to any player's roster.  The featured 4-star characters are Faruzan, a premium Anemo support, Yanfei, and Beidou. While Yanfei and Beidou are older units, the Weapon Banner in the second half reportedly features powerful Signature Weapons for support characters, making it a tempting prospect.

Looking ahead to Version 5.6, Ifa, a chef from Fontaine, and Escoffier, a veterinarian from the Flower-Feather Clan, are expected to make their debut.  Escoffier appears to have connections to Varesa, while Ifa will likely be featured in the main event for Version 5.5.  Early information suggests Escoffier will be a valuable support character for Freeze teams.
