NetEase Games has unveiled the Steam Power skin for Iron Man in Marvel Rivals, set to launch on March 20th at 7 PM PDT. As Season 1 concludes, anticipation builds for Season 2, rumored to begin on April 11th.

Iron Man, a flying Duelist in Marvel Rivals, has been a source of contention within the community. While ranged heroes have countermeasures, Vanguard players struggle against these mobile characters, an issue seemingly exacerbated by the recent release of Human Torch and his team-up with Storm.

The Steam Power skin reimagines Iron Man with a steampunk aesthetic.  Trading his classic red and gold for bulky copper armor, the suit boasts glowing coils, a chest furnace, and shoulder-mounted exhaust pipes.  The skin includes an emote where Iron Man repairs a malfunctioning suit and a unique MVP screen showcasing the hero transforming his arms into energy cannons.

The cosmetic bundle's price is unconfirmed, but leaks suggest a cost of 1,600 Units in Marvel Rivals.  Alongside the Steam Power skin, Spider-Man will receive a futuristic Spider-Punk 2099 skin with a digital mask and vibrant mohawk.  Following punk-themed skins for Magik and Hulk earlier in Season 1, rumors suggest Squirrel Girl may receive a similar treatment.  This influx of content has generated optimism among fans regarding the future of Marvel Rivals.
