Marvel Rivals Update Addresses Bugs, Introduces New Skins, and Hints at Season 2

NetEase Games has released the official patch notes for the March 27th update to Marvel Rivals, as Season 1: Eternal Night Falls draws to a close.  Dataminers suggest Season 2 could launch as early as April 11th, generating excitement within the community.

While the game has been largely successful, some player concerns persist, notably regarding the dominance of flying heroes like Storm, Human Torch, and Iron Man, particularly impacting Vanguard character mains. A recent unintentional nerf to Peni Parker, acknowledged by the developers on Discord, also stirred discussion.  Despite these challenges, positive feedback continues to outweigh the negative.

The March 27th update, which requires no downtime, promises an April Fool's Day Easter egg retrievable between April 1st and 4th through Galacta's Cosmic Adventure. The update also addresses a persistent issue with Human Torch's primary attack missing and resolves problems with players getting stuck on terrain, among other bug fixes.

Two new skins arrive with the update.  Moon Knight receives the 'Fist of Vengeance' costume, inspired by the MCU, while Black Panther gets the 'Thrice-Cursed King' skin, a vampiric look potentially tying into the Eternal Night Falls narrative.
