Ubisoft and Red Bull have partnered to provide players with a chance to acquire complimentary in-game content for the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows.  Despite facing delays and controversies, the game's release is finally drawing near, generating excitement amongst fans.

Amidst the controversies surrounding its development, Assassin's Creed Shadows has received positive feedback from early previews and pre-release announcements.  Ubisoft has not only reduced the Collector's Edition price but is also offering the Claws of Awaji expansion free with pre-orders.  Now, they've unveiled a new collaboration with Red Bull, providing another avenue for free content.

Game Rant Advance offers an exclusive glimpse at new concept art for Assassin's Creed Shadows, showcasing the artistry behind its stunning open world.

A recent announcement on the Red Bull website details how Assassin's Creed Shadows players can obtain free in-game items before launch.  Unlike many video game and energy drink collaborations requiring product purchases (e.g., Mountain Dew and Halo), this promotion offers gear through a simple quiz based on Assassin's Creed Shadows story and gameplay.

Upon completing the quiz, players will be prompted to enter their name and email address to claim their rewards. The quiz completion awards two trinkets for Naoe and Yasuke, customizable within the loadout system.  While the Red Bull logo on the items might disrupt immersion for some, the trinkets offer tangible benefits, especially early in the game.  The Red Bull Medallion grants Naoe +3% affliction buildup on enemies above half health, while the Red Bull Wooden Plaque restores 2% of Yasuke's health upon dodging an attack.

A key feature of Assassin's Creed Shadows is its dual protagonists, a mechanic refined by Ubisoft Quebec in their previous title, Assassin's Creed Syndicate. For Shadows, however, the developer has introduced a Canon Mode, making in-game choices based on character motivations.  Alternatively, players can experience most of the game as a single character, maintaining a specific playstyle throughout.
