Genshin Impact leaks are already surfacing about the Version 5.5 update, even though 5.4 is still ongoing.  The upcoming flagship event is rumored to spotlight characters from the highly anticipated Natlan region, lending credence to theories that the main storyline will shift focus to this Pyro nation following the Traveler's adventures in Liyue and Inazuma.

The event is reportedly divided into three parts, each featuring different character appearances.  While some characters will be present throughout the entire event, others will only appear in specific segments.

A recent job listing from Ufotable, the animation studio behind the upcoming Genshin Impact anime, has sparked excitement amongst fans.  While details are scarce, the listing hints at potential developments related to the anime adaptation, possibly indicating progress on the project.

Leaked information points to several key characters participating in the 5.5 event.  The 4-star Geo user Kachina is expected to appear in all three parts, even more prominently than the Pyro Archon or the newly introduced Varesa.  Another character, possibly Ifa, a Saurian veterinarian from the Flower-Feather Clan and friend of Ororon, is also rumored to be involved.  A free Ororon is expected to be distributed during the event, potentially connecting to Ifa’s appearance.

Alongside these returning characters, the 5.5 update will introduce two new playable units: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa is anticipated to be a 5-star character, while Iansan is projected to be a 4-star. Following HoYoverse's typical update schedule, Varesa is likely to appear in the first banner cycle, expected around March 26. Fans are hopeful that both Varesa and Iansan will be featured in the same banner, increasing their chances of obtaining both characters.
