NetEase Games has announced a thrilling update for Marvel Rivals fans.  The popular hero shooter will soon allow players to convert their Chrono Tokens into valuable Units, offering increased flexibility for in-game purchases.

This mid-season update, arriving on February 21st, will also introduce a variety of balance changes, a brand new map, and the highly anticipated arrival of the remaining Fantastic Four members.

Marvel Rivals utilizes several in-game currencies. Chrono Tokens, earned through challenges, are primarily used to redeem items within the current battle pass. Units, acquired through challenges and achievements, are the key to unlocking a wide array of cosmetic items in the in-game shop. Lastly, Lattice, the premium currency, can be obtained through the battle pass or direct purchase and can be used in place of both Chrono Tokens and Units.

The developers confirmed the Chrono Token conversion feature, allowing players with excess tokens to trade them for Units.  Importantly, this feature will be exclusive to players who have purchased the premium version of the battle pass.  The specific conversion rate remains undisclosed.

The community response to this news has been overwhelmingly positive. Many players expressed enthusiasm, noting a surplus of Chrono Tokens from Season 0. While some intend to save their tokens for future battle passes, the option to convert them into Units offers a welcome alternative.  Players are already making plans for their Unit spending spree, with many eyeing skins for The Thing and Human Torch.
