February 2025 marks a bittersweet period for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. While the service celebrated the arrival of highly anticipated titles like Avowed and welcomed additions such as Far Cry New Dawn to even the standard tier, it's also time to bid farewell to at least nine games.

Earlier in February, Xbox Game Pass lost seven titles, some of which had only been available for a year. This cycle of additions and removals is a regular aspect of the service, but it's always worth noting which games are on their way out.

Xbox recently confirmed three more games joining the departure list for late February.  Previously, the announced departures included Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, and the acclaimed indie title Gris. Now, F1 22, available through EA Play for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, has been added to the list, bringing the total to nine.

The departure of the Yakuza titles might be particularly poignant for fans anticipating the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.  While Yakuza 3 isn't considered a fan favorite, Yakuza 4 is highly regarded for its gameplay and character development.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun's exit will also disappoint some, although other Warhammer titles remain available on the service.
