In Wishful Shrine, players step into the shoes of Ado (voiced by Takaya Kuroda), a former legendary yakuza boss seeking redemption.  Together with his energetic assistant manager, Pinky⭐ (voiced by Ayano Shibuya), Ado aims to establish a thriving fortune god business in a quaint, yet cursed, Japanese town.  Their mission? To help the eccentric residents achieve their wildest dreams and restore the town to its former glory.

Gameplay involves recruiting a colorful cast of fortune gods, each with unique abilities and personalities.  Players will manage these deities, assigning them tasks based on the townspeople's requests and negotiating employment contracts.  Beyond managing the shrine, players can explore the sprawling town of Osorimachi in Ado's iconic, customizable truck with Pinky⭐ by their side, discovering new business opportunities and secrets along the way. The ultimate goal is to elevate the Wishful Shrine's reputation, making it the most revered fortune god agency in all of Japan!

Osorimachi is brimming with quirky characters and intriguing stories. Befriending these townsfolk unlocks special Fortune God Hero Cards, powerful tools that can be deployed to assist your deities when they encounter challenges on their missions. These cards add a strategic layer to the gameplay, allowing players to overcome obstacles and ensure the success of their fortune god business.
