Electronic Arts (EA) announced a new update for its popular life simulation game, The Sims 4, on February 26th.  The highly requested feature of burglars, a classic element from previous Sims games, makes a thrilling return.

Launched in 2014 and transitioned to a free-to-play model in 2022, The Sims 4 offers players a virtual sandbox where they can create and control the lives of their Sims.

Burglars, a familiar threat from earlier installments in the franchise, are back to add a touch of suspense. Under the cover of darkness, these stealthy intruders will attempt to pilfer valuable belongings from unsuspecting Sims' homes.

The update also introduces a suite of security measures to help players protect their virtual assets.  These include burglar alarms, automated warning systems, and even the ability to deliver a shocking surprise to any would-be thieves.

Players can even automate the process of dealing with captured burglars.  With over 50 different methods at their disposal, Sims can ensure these unwelcome guests won't be returning anytime soon.
