WWE 2K25 continues to build upon the MyRise legacy, offering a unique cast of unlockable characters. Building on previous iterations featuring original creations like Chase, El Ordinario, and Geneva Rose, 2K25 brings back familiar faces such as Cole Quinn, who transitioned from older MyCareer modes.

With a revealed roster exceeding 300 playable characters, including legends and current superstars,  2K25 promises an extensive lineup.  Alternate gimmicks and era-specific variants are expected to contribute to this impressive roster size, making it the largest in WWE gaming history.

The latest Ringside Report unveils MyRise's new Live Event feature, a way to earn unlockable Superstars, MyFaction cards, and original MyRise characters. Mutiny "Demon" Finn Balor and a 2K25 version of Cole Quinn are confirmed as obtainable through this feature. Quinn's continued presence within the WWE 2K universe underscores his popularity, following his appearance in WWE 2K24's MyRise's Undisputed storyline.

The Ringside Report's focus on MyRise also reveals intriguing new details about the mode's direction. "MyRise Mutiny" centers around NXT superstars aiming to dominate WWE.  New features like casual attire, personality types, branching storylines, and multiple endings were highlighted, alongside the surprising reveal of a current-day Diamond Dallas Page model.  Following his classic look in WWE 2K24's WCW DLC pack, this updated version was unexpected. WWE Games Gameplay Designer Cornell Gunter confirmed via Twitter that this version of DDP is unlockable within MyRise.

With the development team teasing surprising DLC plans, the final WWE 2K25 roster is highly anticipated. Following Cole Quinn's announcement, fans are expecting other MyRise characters to become playable across various modes.  The developers' emphasis on pushing DLC boundaries, combined with their responsiveness to fan requests for a playable MyRise roster, suggests exciting surprises are in store.
