Sea of Thieves Season 15: Wild Seas Unleashes New Megalodons and Hunter's Call Content

Sea of Thieves has launched its thrilling Season 15, Wild Seas, introducing two formidable new Megalodons to challenge even the most seasoned pirates. Alongside these monstrous additions, players can expect a wealth of new rewards and content to explore, offering ample opportunities to climb another 100 levels of Renown.

Following the stealth-focused Season 14, which introduced the blowpipe and grapple gun, Season 15 builds upon these additions with significant updates. The grapple gun’s opponent rotation ability has been removed for balance, while the blowpipe now allows for faster ammunition switching. However, the spotlight shines brightest on the two new Megalodon variants: the fiery Redmaw and the electrifying Barnacled Dread.

The Redmaw Megalodon, identifiable by its fiery back protrusions and flaming gullet, unleashes fiery attacks that demand swift reactions from players to avoid devastating explosions.  The Barnacled Dread, armored in coral and wielding electric powers, can summon smaller electric creatures to overwhelm ships' decks.

Season 15 also significantly expands the Hunter's Call faction with new quests available from the Quest Table.  Embark on lucrative fishing voyages to catch Treasured Fish, but beware of rival crews seeking to steal your prize before you can claim your rewards.  Additionally, Hunter’s Call Raid Voyages offer on-demand access to existing Raids, awarding unique Hunter's Call treasures upon completion. Players can now also represent the Hunter's Call as Emissaries.

A new season wouldn't be complete without a fresh wave of rewards.  Climb the 100 new Renown levels and complete the Emissary Ledger to earn exclusive titles, the Hungering One Hunter’s clothing set, and impressive sails like the Inaugural Explorer and Hunter’s Call Inaugural Forager. Note that Emissary Ledger rewards will be available starting March 1st.

Sea of Thieves Season 15 also delivers numerous quality-of-life improvements, including performance enhancements, adjustments to unsinkable ship locations, and fixes for various reported issues.  The update also adds new features like hidden Skeleton Fort Vaults and improved menu navigation for controllers.  Players can also look forward to new cosmetics and items available in the Pirate Emporium.
