The wait is finally over for gamers eager to experience Ultizero's action RPG, Lost Soul Aside.  The game is set to launch on May 30, 2025, for both PS5 and PC, and pre-orders are currently open.

Originally revealed in 2017, Lost Soul Aside generated significant excitement but then slipped from the public eye for a while.  The recent PlayStation State of Play showcase brought the game back into the spotlight, reintroducing players to Kaser, a skilled warrior armed with a morphing weapon and accompanied by a dragon-like companion named Arena.  Together, they embark on a quest to save Kaser's younger sister.

Players can choose from a standard physical edition, a digital deluxe edition (including cosmetic items, boosters, and a digital soundtrack and art book), or a standard digital edition.  Pre-ordering any edition grants bonus in-game currency, healing items, and an exclusive outfit for Kaser.

Interestingly, the PC version will no longer require a PSN account, opening up the game to a wider audience.

Ultizero's CEO and game director, Yang Bing, has emphasized the importance of fluid, fast, and stylish combat. Kaser's transformable weapon allows for diverse playstyles and customizable loadouts, further enhancing the combat experience.  Synergizing attacks with Arena, Kaser's companion, adds another layer of depth to the battles.

The developers have also highlighted the PS5 version's utilization of the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback for a more immersive experience and the console's fast loading capabilities for seamless transitions between combat and exploration.

While significant time has passed since earlier gameplay reveals, Ultizero has been diligently working to enhance and refine Lost Soul Aside, leveraging the power of the PS5 to deliver a polished and engaging action RPG.
