Patch 11.1 brings exciting changes to World of Warcraft's newest raid, Liberation of Undermine, revamping the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club Renown system.  Players can earn Renown by defeating bosses and specific enemies within the raid, unlocking perks, buffs, and rewards.

Originally, the Renown track included Puzzling Cartel Chips and Fixer-Upper Repair Stations.  However, Blizzard has decided to remove these rewards and replace them with more impactful benefits. The removal of the Cartel Chips is temporary, with plans to reintroduce them in a different format later on.

World of Warcraft developers recognized that the initial Renown system might feel too grindy for veteran raiders. To alleviate this, the raid skip, previously unlocked at Rank 8, is now available at Rank 5.  This adjustment brings the system more in line with previous raid progression systems, ensuring a smoother experience for experienced players.

Furthermore, two new mounts have been added to the Renown track. Players can now earn the Thunderdrum Misfire, a red rocket mount, at Rank 8 and the Darkfuse Chompactor, a heavily armored hyena inspired by the Darkfuse Solutions faction, at Rank 17. These additions provide compelling rewards to replace the removed tokens and stations.

These changes demonstrate Blizzard's commitment to refining the player experience and ensuring a rewarding progression system for all players. The updated Renown track provides a compelling mix of utility and cosmetic rewards, encouraging players to delve deeper into the Liberation of Undermine raid.

Patch 11.1, Undermined, launches on February 25, with the Liberation of Undermine raid opening on March 4, marking the start of Season 2. The following weeks will introduce Story Mode and the Raid Finder wings. Players can earn Renown on any difficulty, providing multiple avenues to acquire these new rewards.
