These modifiers introduce various limitations and tweaks to the gameplay. For instance, the "Nine Lives" modifier limits players to nine game overs before their save file is deleted.  "Fast Furwards" doubles the game speed for a quicker playthrough. Players seeking a more intense challenge can activate modifiers that spawn stronger enemies or disable leveling up, armor, weapons, and upgrades.  Additional options restrict players to using only magic spells or limit their ship's damage output to one.

Beyond Mew Game Mode, the update includes bug fixes and balance adjustments.  The damage output of Mewteor and Ice Paw has been slightly reduced, and a bug causing some items to be available at unreasonably high levels has been resolved. The shield dodge animation has also been reworked for improved visual distinction.
