Magneto's Meteor M Glitch in Marvel Rivals Sparks Debate

A recent video circulating online highlights a potentially game-breaking glitch in Marvel Rivals involving Magneto's ultimate ability, Meteor M. The video, shared by a player, shows the attack seemingly phasing through an enemy without inflicting any damage.

Magneto, classified as a Vanguard in Marvel Rivals, is often positioned on the front lines to protect teammates and push objectives.  His abilities include a forward-facing shield and a damage-mitigating bubble. His ultimate, Meteor M, absorbs nearby projectiles to amplify its power before launching at an enemy, making it a potent counter to other ultimates like Punisher's or Star-Lord's.

The video showcasing the Meteor M glitch has sparked a debate among players, with many concluding that the ability is bugged.  Some players have reported aiming at the ground near the target for increased consistency, while others expressed relief, believing their perceived misses were due to the glitch rather than their aim.

The discovery of this issue has prompted calls for NetEase Games to implement a hotfix.  Some players, however, are less optimistic, citing the existing bug with Moon Knight's ultimate, which reportedly deals double damage, as an example of delayed fixes.  Despite this, hope remains that the developers will address these concerns promptly.

This isn't the first time Magneto's abilities have been scrutinized.  His primary attack, Iron Volley, has a slow rate of fire and variable damage output, leading some to suggest removing its reload mechanic.  While the developer's response to this feedback remains unknown, players are hopeful that the game's balance will continue to be refined.
