The remaster is reportedly leveraging a combination of the original game engine and Unreal Engine 5. This approach aims to modernize the game's graphics and performance while preserving the core experience that captivated players.

Several gameplay enhancements are also anticipated, including refinements to blocking, stamina, archery, and stealth mechanics.
