The Sims 4 is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the release of two new creator kits on January 30th. These kits introduce fresh furniture, clothing, and decor, developed in collaboration with popular custom content creators.

The Refined Living Room kit, created with pierisim, offers a blend of modern and retro designs, featuring natural colors and wood textures. The Business Chic Kit, designed by madlensims, includes both feminine and masculine business attire, such as knee-length skirts, blazers, boots, suits, and slacks.

The partnership with custom content creators pierisim and madlensims adds a unique touch to these kits. Pierisim expressed excitement about finally sharing the Refined Living Room kit with the community, while madlensims echoed similar sentiments regarding the Business Chic Kit.

Both kits are set to launch on January 30th, with an expected price of $4.99 USD each, aligning with previous creator and content kit pricing.

The growing sentiment among some players is that The Sims 4 needs more substantial updates.  The game, now over a decade old, has accumulated bugs and issues that players feel detract from the overall experience. Some players are experiencing “content kit fatigue,” and would prefer to see the development team focus on larger expansion packs.
