Black Ops 6 Leaks Hint at Specialist Scorestreaks, Verdansk Resurgence, and Controversial Operator Return

The recent Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded update has delivered new content including the remastered Grind map from Black Ops 2 and the brand-new Bullet map, alongside new weapons and cosmetics.  However, the update also inadvertently revealed intriguing details about future seasons through leaked game files.

Data miners have uncovered information suggesting the return of Specialist Scorestreaks, a system previously seen in Modern Warfare.  Call of Duty leaker HeyImAlaix discovered files referencing "Perkstreaks," which reward players with perks for killstreaks, mirroring the functionality of the Specialist system.

While not yet active in-game, the presence of these files hints at a potential return of this feature in a future Black Ops 6 season.  It's important to note that plans can change, so this is not a guarantee.

The leaks also point towards the much-anticipated return of the Verdansk map to Warzone, potentially in Season 3, Spring 2025.  The data suggests that Verdansk will feature the popular Resurgence game mode, allowing players to respawn as long as a teammate survives.

Furthermore, leaks indicate the possible arrival of operators Hudson, Mace, and Roze from Modern Warfare. While Hudson is already part of the Black Ops universe, the inclusion of Mace and Roze, particularly the latter, is noteworthy. Roze's infamous "Rook" skin caused significant visibility issues in Modern Warfare, sparking controversy.  Whether this skin will return alongside the operator remains unknown.
