Innersloth has launched a major update for their hit social deduction game, Among Us, focusing on improving the multiplayer experience and introducing exciting new content. The March 2025 update revamps the matchmaking system based on player feedback and brings a collaboration with the Like a Dragon series.

The new matchmaking user interface offers enhanced functionality and clarity. Players can now easily view crucial information such as player movement speed rates, current and maximum player counts, and the active status of roles like Engineer and Shapeshifter. Customizable filters allow for refined searches based on game types, server regions, Impostor counts, primary language, and even map preferences, including favorites like The Skeld and Polus HQ. These changes address player requests for a more streamlined and efficient matchmaking process.

In addition to the UI overhaul, the update introduces the Kamurocho Cosmicube, a cosmetic collection inspired by the Like a Dragon series.  Players can acquire costumes based on iconic characters like Kiryu, Ichiban, and Majima, featuring signature hairstyles and outfits. The Cosmicube is available for purchase until June 24th for 110 Stars or $9.99.

This update reflects Innersloth's ongoing commitment to refining the Among Us experience.  From its initial rise to fame during the COVID-19 pandemic, the game has maintained its relevance through consistent updates, quality-of-life improvements, and engaging collaborations.
