The highly anticipated soulslike action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan, has received a vital hotfix on PC to resolve a game-breaking bug that halted player progression. This issue, stemming from closing the game during a loading screen, prevented players from continuing the main story.

Neople, the game's developer, quickly responded to player reports by issuing two hotfixes on Steam, urging players to update immediately. Community Manager binpark confirmed the issue's presence on PlayStation and Xbox versions, assuring players that console hotfixes are in development.

Neople has provided a temporary workaround for affected players: reloading the game and recovering save data. However, this method risks potential progress loss, and the extent of the loss remains uncertain.

Despite initial player frustration, many expressed continued enthusiasm for the game, eager to return to its challenging combat and immersive world.  The First Berserker: Khazan is currently in early access for players who purchased the deluxe edition.

The full release is scheduled for March 27th, promising an engaging experience for fans of the soulslike genre. Featuring the voice talents of Ben Starr as the titular Khazan, a betrayed general resurrected by warrior spirits to exact his revenge, the game boasts a compelling narrative and intense boss battles.
