Fortnite players have gotten their first look at the Season 3 OG Pass, launching March 25th.  This pass features revamped versions of classic skins like Raptor, Raven, and what appears to be a reimagining of Dark Voyager, exciting fans of the original Fortnite experience.

While the OG game mode doesn't command the same massive player base as the main battle royale, it has found a dedicated following within the community. The return of Lucky Landing and the meteor event further fuels nostalgia for long-time players.

However, the pricing of the OG Pass has ignited debate.  At 1,000 V-Bucks, it matches the cost of the main Battle Pass, despite offering significantly fewer cosmetics and no V-Bucks in return. This has led many players to call for a price reduction.

Some speculate that the high price is a deliberate strategy to make the Fortnite Crew subscription appear more attractive.  The subscription includes the OG Pass, alongside other benefits, potentially positioning it as a better value proposition.

The Season 3 OG Pass trailer showcases the remixed skins in detail. Raven receives a knightly makeover, complete with medieval armor. Raptor gets a futuristic upgrade with what looks like power armor. And the astronaut skin appears to be a punk-rock version of Dark Voyager, sporting a spiked vest and reflective helmet.

The return of the meteor event from the original Fortnite has also generated excitement.  This iconic event significantly impacted the game's map, and some players hope to see more classic live events return in the future.

While Fortnite OG has experienced some challenges, such as the shutdown of the Ranked Zero Build mode due to low player population,  the upcoming Season 3 and the remixed skins demonstrate Epic Games' continued commitment to the classic game mode.  Despite some setbacks, players eagerly anticipate the future of Fortnite OG.
