Genshin Impact Version 5.4 is scheduled to launch on February 12th, continuing the game's six-week update cycle. Each update typically introduces new characters, regions, and events.

Recent updates have focused on the Natlan region, introduced in Version 5.0. However, with the Natlan storyline progressing, Version 5.4 sees a return to Inazuma, following the Liyue-based Lantern Rite Festival in Version 5.3.

Leaks hint at the identities of three new Harbingers who may become central to the unfolding narrative.

The recent Special Program, released earlier than expected, confirmed the Inazuma setting for Version 5.4 and unveiled the highly anticipated Yumizuki Mizuki, initially leaked as Kamisato Ayano.  The program also highlighted a variety of upcoming events.

While specific details are scarce, these events are expected to offer various rewards, including Primogems.  Fan calculations suggest players could accumulate over 9,000 Primogems through activities like Daily Commissions and event participation.

A flagship event will reward a new 4-star polearm with ATK and Movement Speed buffs upon using an Elemental Skill.  This event also showcases a streamlined weapon refinement system.
