Verdansk Returns to Warzone: Classic Buy Station and New Squad Revive Feature

The highly anticipated return of Verdansk to Call of Duty: Warzone brings a wave of nostalgia and refined gameplay mechanics, particularly with changes to the crucial Buy Station.

Activision has confirmed that the Buy Station will revert to its original vertical format, mirroring the 2020 version of Warzone. This change addresses player feedback regarding the more recent horizontal layout, which often led to misclicks and frustration during intense firefights.

The updated Buy Station retains familiar item prices and order, further enhancing the classic Warzone feel.  A leaked image on the official Call of Duty Twitter account showcased the new design ahead of Verdansk's arrival in Season 3, scheduled for April 3, 2025.

Perhaps the most significant addition is the new squad revive feature.  Players can now instantly revive their entire team with a single button press, streamlining a process that could previously be cumbersome and disadvantageous in critical moments.

While offering this convenient new option, the Buy Station will still provide individual armor plates, killstreaks, self-revive kits, and Loadout Drops – essential items that shape the dynamic flow of Warzone matches.

The return to the vertical Buy Station layout is a direct response to player concerns. The previous horizontal design proved unwieldy, especially given the fast-paced nature of Warzone.  Accidental purchases and the inability to quickly revive teammates often resulted in avoidable losses.

Activision's focus on recreating the original Verdansk experience extends beyond the Buy Station.  By refining core mechanics and reintroducing beloved content, the developers aim to deliver a version of Warzone that resonates with both veteran players and newcomers.
