Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Arrives on PS5
2025-03-23 23:39:39After a 15-year hiatus, Indiana Jones is swinging back onto PlayStation consoles. Recent leaks suggest that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda (a ZeniMax Media subsidiary), will be making its way to the PS5 soon.
Originally released for PC and Xbox Series X/S in December 2024, the PlayStation 5 port was announced by Microsoft earlier that year, with a Spring 2025 release window. Now, thanks to industry insider Billbil-kun of Dealabs, we have a potential release date: March 24th. This date aligns with a recent tweet from Billbil-kun, where they also shared images of what appear to be the physical PS5 copies of the game, including Standard and Premium Editions. While a physical release hasn't been officially confirmed by Bethesda or Microsoft, the leaked images suggest it's a strong possibility.
According to Billbil-kun, pre-order bonuses for the PS5 version mirror those offered for the PC and Xbox releases. The highlight is The Last Crusade Pack, which includes a stylish Traveling Suit Outfit and the iconic Lion Tamer Whip. One slight difference appears to be the early access period for Premium Edition buyers. While PC and Xbox players enjoyed up to three days of early access, PS5 owners may only receive two, based on the leaked information.
Billbil-kun had previously indicated an April 17th release date for the PS5 port. Whenever it officially launches, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will mark the return of Indy to PlayStation consoles after over 15 years. The last Indiana Jones games on PlayStation were Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, both released in 2009.
If the March 24th announcement date holds true, pre-orders are likely to open the same day. Based on the Xbox release, it's possible that the physical PS5 version will only contain DRM software on the disc, requiring a substantial download (around 131GB) to play the full game.
