The popular hero shooter, Marvel Rivals, is expanding its cosmetic offerings with a new line of manga-inspired skins.  Concept art for these upcoming additions has recently surfaced, showcasing designs by renowned artist Peach Momoko.

Marvel Rivals, a team-based shooter boasting a diverse roster of Marvel characters, consistently updates its content with new skins and gameplay enhancements.  Since its December 2024 launch, the game has amassed over 40 million players drawn to its fast-paced action and iconic heroes such as Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, and the surprisingly lethal Jeff the Land Shark.

Marvel Rivals has announced further adjustments to the Vanguard Peni Parker within the game. These changes coincide with the upcoming release of 'Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1', a new Marvel Comics one-shot launching in June.

The new skins, inspired by the upcoming comic, are planned for characters including Luna Snow, The Punisher, Hela, Spider-Man, and Peni Parker.  These designs, crafted by Peach Momoko, have already generated excitement among fans following leaked concept art on social media.  While no official release date has been confirmed for the skins, the 'Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1' comic will delve into a time-traveling escapade through Japan.  The comic features stories by acclaimed Japanese artists Yuji Kaku, Mitsuyasu Sakai, and Ryusei Yamada, each contributing their unique artistic style with black-and-white interiors accentuated by distinct offset colors.

This isn't Peach Momoko's first foray into the Marvel universe.  Her distinctive take on Psylocke serves as the primary version of the character in Marvel Rivals, and she is currently both writer and artist for Ultimate X-Men.  Furthermore, Momoko has lent her artistic talents to Marvel Snap, designing numerous variant card covers for the popular digital collectible card game.

While the release date for these new manga-inspired skins remains under wraps, players can currently acquire the Will of Galacta Adam Warlock Bundle for free via Twitch drops.  This offer runs from March 14, 2025, to April 4, 2025.  To participate, players must link their Marvel Rivals and Twitch accounts and watch streams with drops enabled, often indicated by a '[DROPS]' tag in the stream title.
