Pokemon GO trainers, prepare for the arrival of Mega Audino! This powerful Fairy-type Pokemon is making its debut in a special Raid Day event this April.

Mark your calendars for April 5th, as Mega Audino raids will be available for three hours, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. This is your first opportunity to catch this highly anticipated Mega Evolution, and unlike some recent releases, shiny hunters have a chance to encounter a shimmering Audino.

During the event, Audino will learn the charged attack Moonblast, which will remain available even after the event concludes. This powerful Fairy-type move will make Mega Audino even more formidable in battles.

While Audino is normally a pure Normal-type, its Mega Evolution adds the Fairy typing.  This renders Fighting-type moves ineffective, so trainers will need to adjust their battle strategies.  Poison and Steel-type Pokemon will be your best bet against Mega Audino, so make sure your team is prepared.

For those seeking additional rewards, a special Event Ticket will be available for $5 USD (or equivalent currency). This ticket grants numerous bonuses, including extra Raid Passes when spinning Gym Photo Discs, an increased chance of obtaining Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles, and double XP and Stardust from Raid Battles.

In addition to Mega Audino raids, a Timed Research opportunity will also be available during the event. While the specific requirements are yet to be revealed, completing the research will reward trainers with 10,000 Stardust and additional Stardust bonuses for completing Raid Battles. More rewards are also expected to be announced soon.
