NetEase Games has unveiled the gameplay for Spider-Man's new Spider-Punk 2099 skin in Marvel Rivals. Launching on March 20th at 7 PM PDT, this highly anticipated costume arrives as Season 1: Eternal Night Falls draws to a close, fueling excitement for the upcoming Season 2.

Spider-Man, a challenging yet rewarding Duelist in Marvel Rivals, utilizes his web-slinging abilities to dominate the battlefield with aerial agility. His mobility rivals even the most notorious flying heroes, allowing him to pull enemies in, deliver powerful uppercuts, and unleash a devastating web-based ultimate ability. Mastering his unique kit can significantly impact team success.

The Spider-Punk 2099 skin showcases Spider-Man with a distinct visual flair.  His leather vest, spiked shoulders, digital helmet with a vibrant red mohawk, and black choker give him a punk rock aesthetic. Guitar-themed sound effects accompany his abilities, and a new emote features him strumming an electric guitar, mirroring his MVP animation.

Iron Man also receives a new Steam Power skin on March 20th, reimagining his classic red and gold suit with a steampunk-inspired copper design.  While official pricing remains unconfirmed, leaks suggest a cost of 1,600 Units.

The Spider-Punk 2099 and Steam Power skins join the growing collection of punk-themed cosmetics in Marvel Rivals, following recent releases for Magik and Hulk. Magik's bundle also included an electric guitar emote and MVP screen animation. Speculation points to Squirrel Girl as the next hero to receive a punk makeover.
