Unfrozen, the developers of Might & Might & Magic: Era of Chaos, have announced that the official prequel to the acclaimed turn-based strategy franchise is entering a closed beta phase, focusing on its competitive Arena mode.

Interested players can register for a chance to participate by visiting the game's Steam page and clicking the "Request Access" button.  Access is limited, so be sure to act quickly to increase your chances of being selected.

This new installment in the Might & Magic universe takes players to Enroth, a land within the world of Jadame, previously mentioned in lore but never explored in a Heroes of Might & Magic game. Players will traverse a vibrant fantasy world filled with wonder and peril, build magnificent capital cities, amass powerful armies, and engage in epic, strategically rich battles featuring heroes and mythical creatures.

The closed beta test, running from March 17th to approximately March 28th,  will concentrate on the Arena mode. This fast-paced mode allows players to “choose their heroes, level them up, pick their troops, and immediately challenge an opponent.”
